What we collect,
and what we do with it.
The short version: we collect what you send us, we use it to reply to you and run the site, and we do not sell it to anyone.
01What we collect
Only what you give us.
When you use the contact form or the launch-updates form, we receive what you typed: your name, email address, business name if you gave one, and your message. Forms are processed by Netlify, which hosts this site, and the submissions are delivered to us by email.
When you email us directly or book a call through Cal.com, we receive what you provide through those services under their own privacy policies.
The site uses Google Analytics with consent mode to understand which pages are read. Netlify keeps standard server logs (IP address, pages requested) to run the hosting. We do not run advertising trackers, and we do not buy, sell or trade personal information.
02How we use it
To reply to you, and nothing stranger.
Contact details are used to answer your enquiry and, where you have asked for it, to send occasional product updates. Every update email includes a way to opt out, and asking once is enough.
If you become a client, the information you share during an engagement is covered by our engagement terms and, where agreed, an NDA. Client data lives on infrastructure the client controls by default; that principle is part of how we build.
03Your choices
Ask, and it is done.
You can ask what we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted, through the contact form. You will get a reply from a person within a few days, and the request will be honoured unless the law requires us to keep something.
Directive Systems is based in Perth, Western Australia, and handles personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth). If you believe we have mishandled your information, tell us first and we will fix it; you can also contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.
