ServicesConsulting and bespoke builds

Software for the work your systems leave behind.

Bespoke AI systems, automation and integration are the main event at Directive. We design around how your business actually runs, then build software that closes the gaps: dry run first, human-approved, fully logged, and yours to own.

01Who this is for

If this sounds like your week,
you’re in the right place.

You’re 10 to 200 staff. Your business runs across four or five systems that don’t talk to each other. Month-end takes a week. You’ve tried Power BI once and it didn’t stick. You know what you need isn’t another app. It’s the ones you already have, working together.

02What we build

Five kinds of systems.
One pattern.

Different surfaces, same discipline: live data in, governed actions out, everything logged. Each one wraps the systems you already run instead of replacing them.

  • Internal dashboardsOne screen pulling Xero, MYOB, ServiceM8, HubSpot, your ERP into live view.
  • Operational automationsQuoting, scheduling, compliance reporting, end-of-month close, document processing. Invoices, purchase orders, contracts.
  • AI agents, internalIntake, triage, follow-up and research handled overnight, with a log of everything it did.
  • Customer-facing AIPhone-answering agents, website chat, email triage with human-in-the-loop where it matters.
  • Integration layerConnective tissue for your existing stack: Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, Xero, MYOB, ServiceM8, HubSpot, and custom APIs.
  • Business websitesModern, fast sites built for how people find you now: search engines, AI assistants and answer engines, with structured data agents can actually read. Usually built alongside a bigger system.

03How engagements work

Four stages.
You can stop between any of them.

No lock-in at any point. Every stage ends with something you keep, whether or not you take the next one.

  1. Intro callA short conversation to understand your business. If we're not a fit, we'll tell you.
  2. Discovery workshopMap current-state workflows, integrations, compliance posture. Return a prioritised action plan. You keep the plan whether or not we build anything.
  3. Proposal and buildWritten scope, phased delivery. Workshop fee credited if you proceed. Delivered in stages you can stop between.
  4. Run or hand overOngoing ops with monitoring and support, or full handover with runbooks. Your call.

04Where we have done this

Measured off a live system,
not a slide.

The clearest proof is a system running today against a live WA distributor’s ERP, measured over 14 days. Every write gated, dry-run first, human-approved.

Our products, Composer and Memory, are built on the same pattern. The products prove the craft. The production numbers prove the results.

  • 44jobs ran unattended
  • 99.7%reliability over 14 days
  • ~40 hrsof admin back each week
  • Anonymised · measured off the live system
  • Back-office workflow systemsOperational systems that connect intake, scheduling, reporting, approvals and follow-up so teams stop rekeying the same work across disconnected tools.
  • Distribution and logistics (FMCG)Operational tooling inside an Australian FMCG distribution business: order intake, warehouse ops, customer records and compliance reporting unified into one back office.
  • Construction and field servicesJob intake, quoting, scheduling, compliance evidence, site documentation and reporting connected into a cleaner operating workflow.

Client identities stay private, but the work doesn’t have to. Walk through the specifics on a call.

05Ownership and handover

No black boxes.
No hostage systems.

You should understand what was built, where the data moves, who has access, how it is monitored and how to hand it to another provider if you ever need to. We build with documentation, runbooks and a practical escape hatch from the start.

Dry run first · human approval on anything consequential · everything logged · yours to keep

Bring the process
that hurts.

30 minutes, no obligation. You’ll leave with a sense of what a discovery workshop would cover, and we’ll tell you honestly if we’re the wrong shop for your problem.
